COLORADO WOOD ART

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in the Berthoud area, with a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and creativity. My journey began as a welder-fabricator, inspired by the teachings of my high school industrial arts teacher. This foundation led me to become a self-taught segmented woodturner, combining technical precision with artistic expression. As a proud member of the American Association of Segmented Woodturners, I continually push the boundaries of what is possible in this art form.

Every piece I create is designed to be a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art. No two pieces are the same, reflecting my commitment to individuality and innovation. My art has been featured in:

  • Loveland Sculpture in the Park (2019, 2021, 2022, 2024)
  • Governor’s Art Show (2024)

My work is held in private collections across Colorado and throughout the United States, offering collectors a piece of timeless artistry.

I’d love to share my passion for segmented woodturning with you. Whether you’re interested in commissioning a piece or learning more about my creative process, feel free to reach out. Visit my website ronschleiger.com to explore my latest creations and discover the beauty of segmented wood art.
